On offer today is a very rare quirky piece of Rolex history, and likely the only model in Aus with this dial! 
This stunning 16018 features the ultra-rare “Chevrolet Awards” dial, originally gifted as part of a Chevrolet corporate excellence program to top dealership managers in the ‘80s. This is a slice of Rolex and automotive history, and with only 1 comparable model for sale in the world at 36.8K+ fees, an incredibly collectible piece. Finished in full 18K yellow gold with the original diamond-set Chevrolet dial, and a stunning original solid 18K hidden-clasp Jubilee bracelet fitted, this piece is a rare bird!  
Case and bezel:
The 18K solid gold case is in excellent condition, and recently received a professional refinish to bring it back to “showroom” condition. The fluted bezel is sharp.
Movement, dial, and crystal:
The Rolex Cal. 3035 automatic movement is running smoothly and keeping excellent time. The standout feature is the Chevrolet champagne dial, characterized by the Chevy logos subtly embossed on the dial. The dial is factory set with diamond hour markers, which look incredible when they catch the light. These dials are rarely seen and highly collectible. A new sapphire crystal has been fitted and is pristine, presenting the dial clearly. 
Bracelet:
This piece is fitted with the original hidden clasp Jubilee bracelet in solid 18K gold - one of the rarer bracelet variants. Light stretch is present, but it still wears nicely. The bracelet is sized to fit around a 7.8” wrist. It presents in excellent condition thanks to a recent refinish. There is a lot of value in the bracelet, containing around $9,000 AUD in gold value alone at current rates.
