The first-generation Vacheron Overseas is quickly becoming a grail tier piece for many, and for good reason! This in solid 18K yellow gold is a supremely cool watch, weighing a solid 195 grams. With gold on the rise, this is a no brainer investment piece!
This one is the cheapest gold 42052 I can see for sale by a long shot, and with papers too!
Case and bezel: The 18K case is in great condition, showing only light hairline scratching as pictured. The case lines are still very sharp and defined, showing no evidence of over polishing. The Maltese cross bezel remains sharp with strong definition, presenting in good condition with minimal hairline scratching.
Movement, dial, and crystal: the revised automatic Cal. 1311 Vacheron movement is running well and keeping great time, serviced in 2018 by Vacheron Constantin Japan with service receipt. The stunning crème Guilloché dial is in excellent condition, showing incredible pattern work upon close inspection. It is presented clearly through the sapphire crystal, which is clear and presents the dial beautifully.
Bracelet/strap: This piece is fitted on the original 18K bracelet, which is a big chunk of gold - It adds an unmistakable presence to this piece. It has no stretch, and few minor hairlines visible. It is sized to fit around an 8” wrist. The bracelet closes securely with the locking deployant clasp and flip lock.
Notes/inclusions: This piece Includes 2018 Vacheron service receipt, chronometer certificate, and booklet. These pieces are still relatively slept on value wise! If you work out the gold value, you’re basically paying 10-15K for the watch - crazy cool watch and great value for money!
